  • The Lacombe and District Performing Arts Festival uses the Alberta Music Festival Association Provincial Syllabus along with local addenda. The full syllabus, both provincial and local, are available here.
  • Registration opened Monday, January 8, 2024 at 12:00 AM and is available at lacombe.musicfestivalsuite.com
  • Registration closed Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 11:59 PM, but late registrations were accepted until Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 10:38 AM
  • To register, all Parents/Guardians and Teachers/Group Leaders must make a Profile with the Lacombe and District Performing Arts Festival's MusicFestivalSuite Portal before a Participant makes their own Profile.
    • A Parent/Guardian can create a Profile for their minor children easily from within their own Profile.
    • A Teacher/Group Leader can create a Profile for their ensemble(s) easily from within their own Profile.
    • If you already have a MusicFestivalSuite Profile with another festival, you can Export your Profile from that festival to the Lacombe and District Performing Arts Festival easily from within your Profile with that festival.
  • The Lacombe and District Performing Arts Festival has currently scheduled the live festival to take place from 9:59 AM, March 11, 2024 to 11:59 PM, March 15, 2024.
  • For Support or Extra Help, from within your Profile with the Lacombe and District Performing Arts Festival, go to the Support option and open a Support Ticket for the fastest response.

Recording of children’s performances or their adjudications can easily violate matters of consent, exploitation, intent, and harm and has deep moral implications. 

 

In the name of child safety, common decency and in respect for others, the Lacombe and District Music Festival Committee asks that you do not record the performance or adjudication of any child without the written permission of everyone involved in the performance.
